Kim Kardashian Has Been Taking Some Serious Style Notes From Cruella De Vil At NYFW
No puppies were harmed in the making of this story.
When it comes to fashion, there's really not much Kim Kardashian hasn't tried. She's stripped off, she's done head to toe spandex (although that's probably really only because it was part of husband Kanye West's Yeezy line) and she's done a fair amount of haute couture too.
But Kimmy K took a slightly different approach to her first proper public appearance since the birth of baby Saint this week and headed out in New York wearing an outfit that seems to be have inspired by none other than Cruella de Vil.
While Disney villains might not seem like a natural starting point when it comes to deciding how to get dressed in the morning, Kim's given the cartoon character look a contemporary update with the help of a pair of leggings and sheer top that showed her bralet underneath.
Spotted sweeping out of Cipriani's with pal Jonathan Cheban, Kim, who's in town for New York Fashion Week, was also working braids, giant sunglasses and a long black and white fur that is rather reminiscent of the one Cruella wears in the Disney film.
Who knows, maybe she's auditioning to play the puppy obsessed villain in the live action remake.
Either way this is certainly quite the style statement, but what do you think - big hit or total fail?
