Keeping Up With The Kardashians To End In 2015?
Long-running US reality TV series could finish in two years' time...
The show which made a celebrity out ofKim Kardashiancould end its run in 2015, it has been reported.
A US showbiz blog has claimed that a source connected to Keeping Up With The Kardashians had indicated that Kim and her clan were ready to call it quits with the show.
An insider told Naughty But Nice Rob: "It has been the biggest reality franchise of all time. Both Kim and Kris want to make sure they end on a high note, leaving fans wanting more, rather than try and stretch the show on for another few seasons and watch it die a death.
"Plus, they are now moving on in their lives. Exploring new options and opportunities – Kim wants to be with her daughter and Kanye, while Kris wants to focus on being a talk show host and maybe start producing movies. She's telling everyone that one day she will have an Oscar."
The show has been on air since 2007 and eight seasons have been broadcast in the last six years. The family last year signed a three-year deal worth $40m to continue with the show.
But another source indicated that they may have finally decided they now have enough money to stop.
"They have all made so much money that they never need to work again," the mole said.
"They want a break from the cameras. That shouldn't be too surprising - after all, all the great shows eventually end. Just look at Friends, Oprah and Seinfeld."
