Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian have shared images of their Oscars party looks - and both appear to have opted for old-school Hollywood glamour.

Although neither were attending the big show personally, they turned on the style for Sir Elton John's viewing party.

Kim went for bright red lipstick and a matching scarlet dress which showed off her ample cleavage but covered her legs and feet.

She wrote: "Sneak peek Oscar party glam Dress- Celia Kritharioti. Jewels-Lorraine Shwartz"

And Khloe picked a plum-coloured gown with gothy purple lipstick and matching earrings - writing on her Instagram: "Face brought to you by @joycebonelli @clydehairgod!!! These @lorraineschwartz jewels are giving me life!! And just wait until you see what @robzangardi and@marielwashere put together #Oscars #EltonJohn"

Their mum Kris Jenner also shared a snap of herself with the pair and their other sister Kourtney Kardashian - who was wearing a boy-ish black-and-white trouser suit.

Lady Gaga and Kelly Osbourne were among the other celebs at Sir Elton's bash - and posed for a jokey photo together.
