Kim Kardashian And Kanye West ‘Hired Private Firefighters’ To Keep Their House Safe
They invested money in ensuring their property had the best protection
According to TMZ, the couple decided to invest money in ensuring that their Hidden Hills mansion had the best protection against the fires, which apparently had a domino effect in safeguarding the rest of neighbourhood.
The $60 million property sits at the bottom of a cul-de-sac, meaning that if it had caught fire, other buildings in the area would be at risk from the flames.
The private team of firefighters are said to have dug ditches around the property to prevent a potential fire from spreading.
This comes as Kim took to social-media to update fans about their situation: "I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now are more contained and have stopped at the moment.
She added: "It doesn’t seems like it is getting worse right now, I just pray the winds are in our favor. God is good. I’m just praying everyone is safe. Fire Fighters, I love you and thank you for doing all that you can to keep us safe"
At least 42 people have died in what has been described as California state’s most deadly widespread wildfires on record, with a further 228 people still missing.
The Woolsey Fire – which affected celebrity areas including Calabasas and Malibu – is currently said to be only 10% contained.
