Kim Kardashian has revealed what really caused her wardrobe malfunction, which happened just before an appearance on The Ellen Show.

The reality TV star tweeted an hour before her interview, ”OMG my dress for Ellen just broke!!! I have to leave in 5mins...I need help! Should I wear this???”

Naturally host Ellen DeGeneneres noticed the tweet and asked Kim what happened.

“I get this dress tailored and it completely does not fit,” Kim explained.

“[But] something told me, an hour before, just try it on, so I tried it on and it completely didn’t fit, like nothing that could’ve been fixed,” she said of the wardrobe disaster.

“So I had to figure out something last minute and I’m all packed to go to Paris and I have nothing. I just kinda put it together really quickly.”

And when Ellen asked why Kim didn’t have a back-up outfit, the new mum agreed: “It’s a good lesson. Next time I will!”
