Kim Kardashian took to the web today to give thanks for her soon-to-be husband Kanye West and their 5-month old daughter North. “I am extra thankful this year for my baby girl and am so happy I get to spend this Thanksgiving as a family with my daughter and fiancé,” she wrote on her website.

Kim also used the day to reflect on Thanksgivings past. She posted two snaps of her and siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Rob skiing with their father Robert, who passed away in 2003.

“Thanksgiving was the holiday that I always spent with my dad skiing every year in Vail, Colorado since I was 2 years old to 22,” the reality TV star wrote alongside the pictures. “This time of year always brings back such amazing memories. I am thankful I had them.”

The newly-engaged 33-year-old went on to thank her family for “being close and always so supportive” and wished her fans a “healthy happy thanksgiving”.

Kim’s younger sisters also got into the Thanksigiving spirit with Kylie tweeting a picture of her head Photoshopped onto a turkey and Kendall posting an adorable picture of her and baby niece Penelope on a morning horse-ride.

Hubby-to-be Kanye, meanwhile, took to Twitter yesterday to thank Russell Simmons, co-founder of music label Def Jam, for writing an article titled ‘The Genius That is Kanye West.’
