Kim Kardashian has been diagnosed with the incurable skin condition psoriasis.
The 30-year old, who is due to marry her boyfriend Kris Humphires later this summer, was apparently "devastated" after finding out she had the compliant, which leaves her skin covered in a red rash.
Fans of the socialite witnessed Kim panic when noticing that the rash had spread all over her body during an episode of her reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
According to The Sun, Kimmy first noticed the blotches on her body when shooting an advertisement campaign - leaving the star "terrified" it could affect her modelling work.
In the programme, Kim states: "My career is doing ad campaigns and swimsuit photo shoots. People don't understand the pressure on me to look perfect."
She added: "When I gain a pound, it's in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots?"
Kim is thought to have inherited the condition from her mother, Kris Jenner, who told Kardashian she used to "cry herself to sleep" after being diagnosed with psoriasis.
Doctors have advised Kimmy that the only way to deal with the disease is to lead a "slow-paced life", something the star claims isn't possible due to her hectic career.
