Here's Why Kim Kardashian Is “Grateful” For Paris Robbery

Growth is good.

It must have been a terrifying experience to go through, but Kim Kardashian is now crediting her robbery in Paris as being the catalyst that helped her change for the better.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has lived her life in the public eye for over a decade now, sharing everything from her failed married to Kris Humphries, her engagement to Kanye West and even losing a diamond earring in the ocean (still one of the best scenes in reality TV, like, ever). But living her life so publically led to the unfortunate incident in 2016, which she's now saying she's "grateful" for.

KimtellsAlec Baldwin on his new talk show, The Alec Baldwin Show, that the event has “definitely changed” her.

"My life has definitely changed a lot in the last two years," she says. "For a good year, I almost lost myself, I was never depressed, but I wasn't motivated to get up and work like I used to. It shook me."

"There was a lot of me that measured who I was by how much I had. I thought, 'Oh, I'm worth so much,'" she goes on to say. "That needed to change in me."

She then says that she was “grateful for the experience. Even though it was horrific and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, it really did deeply change me to where now I feel like I can get back to myself."
