Kim Kardashian Is Suing The Website Who Claimed Her Paris Robbery Was Fake
The website claimed there was evidence that the robbery was fake...
Which is why she has filed a federal lawsuit against the website MediaTakeOut.com for three of their posts that claimed Kim staged the whole thing.
ET confirmed that the now-deleted posts included allegations of evidence that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had staged the incident, as well as saying that French authorities suspected that she had let the robbers into the apartment herself.
Another post claimed that "if she faked the robbery… she just committed a FEDERAL CRIME" by filing an insurance claim for her stolen jewellery.
The lawsuit states: "After having been the victim of a horrific and traumatic armed robbery in France, Kim Kardashian returned to the United States only to again be victimized, but this time by an online gossip tabloid that published a series of articles in early October 2016 referring to her a liar and thief.
"Defendants' reckless and malicious publication of the Articles was calculated to cause maximum harm to Kardashian."
A source revealed to ET that 35-year-old Kim wasn't exaggerating any part of her scary incident: "Besides the fact that it would be uncharacteristic of Kim to lie about something like this, she'd never put herself in this kind of danger.
"They wouldn't do something like this for a reality show. She was scared for her life", they added.
Kim still hasn't spoken out since the incident, but hopefully we will hear her side of the story when she does...
