Kim Kardashian has insisted that her daughter North is not spoiled when it comes to clothes.

The reality star told US magazine People: "Despite what it looks like on Instagram, my daughter is not spoiled at all!"

Her comments come after she posted pics on Instagram earlier this month showing baby clothes by designers including Roberto Cavalli and Oscar de la Renta.

However Kim, who is launching her own line of baby clothes, revealed that her eight-month-old daughter is yet to wear the exclusive clobber. She told the mag: "She has actually not worn anything designer yet. Kids get dirty. She'll spit up. She moves around so much. I saw this one cute dress that was $500 and I was like, 'Absolutely not!'"

She added: "I just want her in little onesies and leggings. Onesies are life-changing! I would feel bad every time I had to squeeze a shirt over her head."

In even more surprising news, Kim said that she dresses North in hand-me-downs from her sister, revealing: "Kourtney saves everything [from her daughter Penelope] and gives it to me."

However, not everything gets the seal of approval from her already fashion-conscious baby as she added: "I tried to put North in a faux-fur vest, but she hated it. She doesn't mind headbands [that don't] pull her hair."

Meanwhile, Radar Online claims that Kim will be starring in the movie her husband Kanye West is working on with American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis.

A source told the site: “Kim is definitely going to be in it. The screenplay already features her character.

“Her role is going to be very dramatic. Far from the bubbly happy persona that she’s always played.”
