Having conquered the world of reality TV, Kim Kardashian could soon turn her attention to the world of politics.
News of her political ambitions hit the headlines when Kimmy appeared in an episode of Khloe and Lamar telling her sister she plans to run for mayor of Glendale, California "in five years".
The footage shows Kim saying: "I have to buy a house there [because] you have to have residency.
"[Noelle Keshishian] and I are looking into all the requirements and she's going to help me with my campaign because it's like Armenian town. I need to wait, like, five years."
Now Kim's rep has addressed the story, telling US Weekly: "Kim has always looked for opportunities to grow and also do what she can to help and support the Armenian community.
"She's learning more about ways in which she can help to do her part to make a difference in the community."
In recent weeks, Kim has made headlines of a different kind thanks to her rumoured romance with rapper Kanye West.
She is due to return to TV screens in new episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians on E! in May.
