Kim Kardashian Reveals She Wanted To Call Off Wedding To Kris Humphries The Night Before
As she reveals the truth behind those surrogacy rumours.
Kim Kardashian has opened up about her state of mind in the night before her doomed marriage to Kris Humphries and she's revealed that mum Kris Jenner knew she was having doubts about going through with the ceremony.
Let's all get checking out an update from MTV News...
The claims were made in a recent interview The Kardashians gave to The Hollywood Reporter in honour of 10 years of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and it turns out that the cracks in Kim and Kris's relationships were present from the get go.
“There was all this attention on the wedding, and I thought maybe it was just the pressure of the show giving me anxiety. My friends told me I just had cold feet, but even the producers said, ‘You don’t seem happy. You don’t have to go through with this,’”
"The night before, my mom pulled me aside, off camera, and was like, 'This isn't it for you. Why don't you go away and I'll handle it?’" the 36-year-old told the publication. "I felt like, if I pulled out now, everyone's going to think I just did it for the show.
"Then afterwards, people were saying, 'You have to stay married for a year,' but I physically couldn't do it. When I made the decision [to divorce], everyone said it was made up for the show. Everyone really wanted to take me down.”
Ryan Seacrest confirmed that Kim was unhappy just days after going through with the marriage. “I remember when Kim called me after the wedding. It was just a few days after, and she just didn’t feel like it was right. She was very candid and open.”
The couple infamously started seperation proceedings 72 days after their marriage, with Kim filing for divorce from the NBA player citing 'irreconcilable differences'. At the time, conspiracy theorists were convinced that the pair had only tied the knot for TV ratings - claims that Kim has shut down several times.
“Think about this realistically: If it was for the show, don’t you think we would have found someone that signed off? Someone OK with getting married and getting divorced two months later?” she asks. “If it’s for a show, don’t you think you’d want as little legal trouble as possible?"
She added: “This was real emotions, real feelings. People f--k up.”
This comes as Kim cleared up those rumours that she and husband Kanye West are expecting their third child via surrogate. "I hope so," she revealed in the same interview. "There have been a lot of things said and Kanye and I have not confirmed anything. We’re definitely trying. We are hoping so."
