Kim Kardashian Sex Tape Receives Mystery Bidder
It seems a good Samaritan wants to spare Kim's blushes…
A mystery bidder is apparently attempting to purchase the rights to the [uuid=1d9d1c63-4303-48d1-bb84-a2add6f0462c]Ray J.
The tape, which first surfaced in February 2007, is currently owned by Vivid Entertainment, who reached an agreement with Kimmy in late April 2007 for $5million in return for keeping the rights.
Now TMZ has reported that a potential buyer, who has hired a lawyer in Tennessee, is said to want to remove the tape from the internet completely.
The lawyer sent a letter to Vivid Entertainment's chief Steve Hirsch, saying:
"I was approached by a private party who has asked us about looking into the possibility of acquiring all rights of the Vivid, Kim Kardashian Sex Tape," the letter read.
"The party we represent does not intend to distribute or broadcast the 'tape', but hopes to completely remove it from the market.
"We would purchase any other footage you may have control of that involves Ms Kardashian."
Who the bidder is, and weather they are operating on behalf of the Kardashians or not remains a mystery, but it may well prove to be the most expensive wedding gift the young couple receive.
