Kim Kardashian To Take Kanye's Name After Wedding

Kim Kardashianhas confirmed that she will be taking Kanye West's surname when they tie the knot.

During an interview with E! News, the socialite - who previously refused to take ex-hubby Kris Humphries last name - said that she will make Kardashian her middle name.

When asked if she planning on changing her name to West, Kim revealed: "Yeah, I will. It'll be Kim Kardashian West." 

She went on to state that by having daughter North has made their "amazing" relationship better than ever before, explaining: "You really have a sense of family, especially with us having our daughter and our relationship has been best friends and we've known each other for so long that our relationship has always been amazing. 

"But I think it's gotten so much better after we had our daughter and just since we've been together for almost two years now."

Last night (October 28), Kanye also spoke of his upcoming wedding to Kim, telling US radio show Power 106 that they are planning on getting hitched "next summer".

He went on to tease: "I only got two words in my mind so far, as far as ideas for the wedding go. That's fighter jets."

 As well as taking West's name, Kim has previously said that she will leave most of the wedding planning up to her beau, telling People magazine: "We haven't really talked about it, but whatever he wants."
