Kim Kardashian has spoken out about last night's GQ Men of the Year Awards, where she received the accolade of 'Woman of the Year'.

Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1's Breakfast Show this morning, KK West revealed she was simply thrilled with the title.

"That was such an honour. That was very cool, and our cover came out last night so that's exciting."

On what qualities are needed to be Woman of the Year, she replied: "Someone that is career-driven and not lazy. I think that is most important."

"I like to think of it as a sexy award and fun. It was such a cool honour. I was so excited that they chose me."

Though not everyone agreed when it came to GQ's decisions, with many fans of the mag tweeting their rage at them.

US GQ even made sure everyone knew they had nothing to do with the British awards, tweeting: "Just to clarify: We didn’t give out any awards last night, in case you’re directing some rage at us this morning."
