Kim Kardashian became the latest celebrity to be targeted by notorious Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk this week.

The reality star was knocked over by Sediuk as she arrived at a fashion event in Paris with hubby Kanye West and momager Kris Jenner.

Now it's emerged he won't be prosecuted over the incident.

According to TMZ, French law enforcement sources have indicated that Sediuk won't face charges over the incident.

An official from the Prefecture de police Paris said they do not get involved in such "minimal situations", and that no action will be taken against Sediuk for trying to tackle Kim to the ground.

Since the encounter, Kim has reportedly amped-up her security.

After his stunt the prankster told MailOnline: "I hope Kim is OK and won't be mad at me as I didn't mean any harm... The prank with Kim was my protest that US banned me from entering the country."

Sediuk has previously targeted celebs including Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith and America Ferrera.
