We already knew that Kim Kardashian is kind of a big deal on Twitter, what with having almost 34 million followers and all.

And it seems that what she says goes, judging by the response of Twitter head honcho Jack Dorsey to her request for an edit function to be added to the social network.

I just emailed Twitter to see if they can add an edit feature so that when u misspell something u don't have to delete & repost Let's see...

She announced to her followers: "I just emailed Twitter to see if they can add an edit feature so that when u misspell something u don't have to delete & repost Let's see..."

And Dorsey was swift to respond by tweeting: "@KimKardashian great idea! We're always looking at ways to make things faster and easier."

The change hasn't been made at the time of writing - and when it has been mooted before objectors have pointed out that messages could be changed to a different meaning after the fact.

It's unclear how this might work with re-tweets as well.
