Colin Firth On Kingsman: "I Missed It Terribly When It Was Over"
MTV News Top Story: We catch up with the Brit bad-ass and co-star Taron Egerton at the film's premiere in London...
Speaking on the red carpet, Firth - who plays British bad-ass Harry Hart in the spy flick - explained how much he enjoyed shooting the movie: "I loved it. I didn't love the first month, it hurt but I kept at it for long enough and eventually if you repeat something you'll get some results.
"I was thrilled, I missed it terribly when it was over."
When asked how he found performing those complicated stunts in THAT super-fitted suit, Colin claimed: "The stunts we did, actually because they were cut within an inch of our lives, you're one breakfast away from not closing your buttons.
"When we actually came to do the stunt scenes they had another version of the suit with a little bit more room to manoeuvre."
Firth's co-star Egerton added: "What they do is, they build a suit that looks good, that is fitted to the very contours of your body and they build versions that will allow you freedom of movement to do things like jump off walls and fight goons.
"But actually there's something really wonderful about wearing a suit because it makes you feel very strong, very physically able, very capable. So yeah, if you're ever going to save the world, it's got to be done in a bespoke suit doesn't it?"
We have to agree Taron!
Kingsman: The Secret Service is due to hit UK cinemas on January 29.
