Klaxons have whipped out their glow sticks and are ready to fight for the UK and win the New Sounds of Europe Award at this years MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich.

The band prove Its Not Over Yet by replacing the UKs original representative James Morrison who was forced to withdraw due to recording commitments.

Klaxons will go up against 17 other emerging acts from across Europe who will be narrowed down through an online vote, until only three remain who will attend the ceremony on November 1st.

On show day online and live SMS voting will decide the final winner who will get to perform alongside the likes on Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance and The Foo Fighters " and win the New Sounds of Europe Award.

A highly poetic spokesperson for Klaxons said: We're excited to be the UK entrant for the NSOE award and at the prospect of performing at the EMAs in Munich to cap what has been a fantastic year for us so far."

So get voting and dont let the boys get beaten by Euro stars like Bedwetter's from Estonia or Coma from Poland!
