Klaxons Top Charts AND Support Muse!

The new ravers have done the double. Who said Tuesdays were dull?

It's double the celebrations for Klaxons today (January 30)!

After we reported last week that the 'Golden Skans' boys had turned down the offer to support Muse at Wembley and were bitterly regretting it, it's been announced that they will play now after all.

Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy, was bemused to hear our story and has assured the 'new ravers' they can take to the stage with them. The singer beamed, "If they're still up for it, well bring them on!"

And that's not the only good news on camp Klaxons today - the boys' debut abum 'Myths Of The Near Future' is a dead cert for No 1 in this weekend's charts, knocking The View's 'Hats Off To The Bsukers' off the summit.

According to midweek sales figures the disc sold over 21,000 copies on its first day of release - over 4000 more copies more than its nearest rival, Jamie T's 'Panic Prevention' (well done to him, too!).

Congratulations, boys. And er, yes, just buy us a drink and we'll call it evens after helping you on your way to playing Wembley!
