Jude Law To Play Villain In King Arthur Movie?
Brit star reportedly in talks to join Guy Ritchie's Knights Of The Roundtable...
The long and proud tradition of British stars playing the villains in Hollywood movies looks set to continue if casting reports concerning Guy Ritchie's Knights Of The Roundtable: King Arthur are to be believed.
Although since the blockbuster is set in Medieval Britain, we'll give the filmmakers a pass this time.
Jude Law is claimed by Variety to be in the frame to join the movie - which has already cast Charlie Hunnam as Arthur and Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey as Guinevere - as the main baddie.
The plot is being kept under wraps for now, but it's reported that the story could be stretched across six movies if the franchise is successful.
However Idris Elba has reportedly failed to agree a deal to play a mentor to the young Arthur.
The movie is set for release in July 2016.
