The former Twilight star admitted to using the popular image-sharing network to keep in touch with her pals - but insisted that she doesn't think it's really social media.

"I have a private Instagram so I can keep in touch with my friends because I'm always away," she told USA Today.

"That's not social media. We have a shared photo stream."

However K-Stew made it very clear that she has zero interest in joining Twitter.

"What would I tweet about? Who are youto? What are you saying? Imagine sitting here right now and thinking, 'That's a good thing to say to the world?' I can't even understand it."
