Kristen Stewart Speaks Out On Surviving Affair Scandal: “I Lit My Universe On Fire And Watched It Burn”
K-Stew reveals that the whole thing made her more ‘feral’.
They were Hollywood’s ‘it’ couple from the moment the first Twilight film hit cinemas, but Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s relationship came crashing down in a VERY public way.
But now, nearly three years after THOSE pictures of Kristen and director Rupert Sanders emerged, K-Stew has opened up about the ‘traumatic period’ of her life, and how she managed to get through it.

In the latest issue of Marie Claire, Kristen is looking fierce on the cover, and gave some insight into what must’ve been the most intense few months of her life.
She told the mag: “I lit my universe on fire and I watched it burn. Speaking very candidly, it was a really traumatic period in my early 20s that kick-started something in me that was a bit more… feral.”
Of course, Kristen is referring to the revelation that she was having an affair with a married man, who was her director in the film ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.

The world practically imploded at the news K-Stew had cheated on long-time boyfriend Rob, and while the two had never properly confirmed their romance, ironically it was Kristen’s public apology that answered the question fans had been asking for years.
Now, as it seems Kristen and Rob have both moved on (with R-Patz supposedly engaged to singer FKA twigs and Kristen dating Alicia Cargile), the star also told the magazine that age has made her ‘smarter and calmer’.
She explained: “I’m really proud that I am able to move forward and not fall into every mental crater. That's a new thing for me… And it is f***ing awesome."
Well, all’s well that ends well we guess, but to be honest we don’t think we’ll ever get over the Robsten break up… It literally still hurts our hearts.
