KT Tunstall Rocks Out
EXCLUSIVE: Arctic Monkeys infected my guitar says the Scottish star as we chat about her new album before anyone else.
KT Tunstall has revealed to MTV that she was influenced by indie bands when making her new album Drastic Fantastic.
The stunning Suddenly I See singer exclusively told us: Arctic Monkeys were recording in the same studio as me so they must have infected my guitar with their fast playing!
Revealing all about her new material 31 year old KT said: Theres much more of a rock influence on this album.
The song that really stuck out on the radio when I was driving to the studio was The Prayer by Bloc Party. Its a wicked song. The Killers were playing a lot on the radio too and I was enjoying their writing.
Tunstalls follow up to the massive Eye To The Telescope is out in September and she spoke to MTV Online about it first:
I couldnt be happier with the second album. It was just really important to me that I progress and move forward and develop myself.
To get Fantastic you gotta be Drastic. Otherwise its safe but boring.
You heard it here first.
