MTV Review: We've Still Got Goosebumps From Kwabs' Somerset House Gig

Get this man in your life now!

How does he do it? Kwabs literally gave an entire audience goosebumps at his Somerset House Summer Series gig on Friday (17th July).

Having had the crowd ably warmed up by rising stars Zak Abel and Raleigh Ritchie, King Kwabs and his velvety vocals washed over the Central London venue onyet another warm summer's eve for over an hours worth of the soul man's material.

A set comprised mainly ofour former Brand New nominee's forthcoming album tracks'Love + War', highlights included brand new single 'Fight For Love', 'Pray For Love' and the stomping 'Walk', plus a suprising cover of Arctic Monkeys' 'Do I Wanna Know' helped introduce Kwabs virgins to his sound.

Yet, it's the heart-wrenching, uber-emotive 'Perfect Ruin' thatgets us every time. Literally raising hairs all around us, not many artists can close on such a ballad, but this man can.

With a bright future ahead, and a feature on Disclosure's forthcoming 'Caracal' (can't hurt can it?), don't let this year go by without booking in a bit of Kwabs time.
