Kylie Jenner Reveals The Surprisingly Traditional Name She Almost Gave Stormi
We'd literally never have guessed this one
Kylie Jenner has opened up about how difficult it was naming her first child and revealed that Stormi Webster was very nearly called something a lot more traditional.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to Instagram Stories to tell fans that she strongly considered calling the 1-year-old Rose, only to change her mind when the baby was born.
“One name I will tell you guys, because I don’t think I’m ever going to name my daughter this, but I wanted to name her Rose,” she said. “I really liked that name. Shout out to everyone named Rose.”
“I feel like she chose her own name,” the 21-year-old said. “I looked up names and I saw Storm and I really liked that but I wanted her to have an ‘ie’ at the end of her name like me. Kylie and Stormi.
“When I was pregnant I used to call her Stormi when I would talk to her in my belly. It just always felt right. I had two names that I liked better than Stormi, but when I had her I felt like she chose her own name and I couldn’t imagine any other name.”
This comes as Kylie recently revealed that she’s super “proud” of her flat stomach after previously telling Glamour that she wasn’t prepared for how much pregnancy would change her body.
As much as we love the name Rose, we’re also digging how unique and undeniably cute Stormi is.
