Kylie And Jason To Sing Especially For You
Duo to reunite for one night only at retro concert in Hyde Park...
The pair, who played Scott and Charlene in Neighbours and who were once an item in real life, are to duet on Especially For You.
They are likely to be the biggest draw at the event, in honour of the 25th anniversary of Pete Waterman's label PWL Records.
Kylie told Glamour magazine: "I'm going to sing Especially For You with Jason Donovan. I don't think we'll even need to sing it. I'm sure the audience all went through the Neighbours wedding. It's going to bring the house down! Even though it's outdoors."
The gig will also feature Pepsi & Shirlie, 2 Unlimited, Brother Beyond, Sonia, Bananarama and Rick Astley.
But back in Kylie-land, the Aussie pop princess also confessed that she had been nervous about her Anti-Tour earlier this year, where she played only B-sides, album tracks and rarities.
She continued: "It was torturous inside me. I just thought, 'I can't be that person, she's not accepted, she's so uncool', and it transpires I was none of those things.
"The coolest people were just, 'No, we love those songs, we love you from that time', but I had to go through my own process to where I could embrace it. The 'Anti-Tour'. I could bore you still with what that tour meant to me!"
Kylie recently unleashed her new single Timebomb on the world.
