Kylie Minogue is following the lead of Snoop Dogg and branching out - going from Australia to India!

According to reports, the star of the album X, will be working with critically acclaimed AR Rahman, recording a song on the soundtrack for a Bollywood movie called Blue.

Minogue will collect an amazing $1 million for the Bolly track and will probably head to Mumbai in the New Year to start working.

Reports claim that Madonna and Rihanna were targeted to work on the movie but agreements could not be reached.

The paperwork for the soundtrack is due to be signed today, however a spokesperson for film company Nine Winds would not confirm the name of the international artist they had secured for the movie until everything was finalised:

"Yes, we are getting an international artist in January or February for the number, but we don't want to say who it is yet", they explained.

The movie Blue, is inspired by Hollywood underwater thrillers like The Deep and Jaw.
