Kylie Minogue Announces New Single 'Into The Blue'
No word on whether she'll be cracking out the gold hotpants again...
Kylie Minogue has announced she’s getting back on the dancefloor with her new single Into The Blue.
The petite pin-up – who’s currently a judge on The Voice – will release the track in March, ahead of her highly anticipated new album.
Written by the legendary Kelly Sheehan (who has previously worked with Beyonce and Rita Ora), Into The Blue is slated to be a “euphoric” party track.
“2013 was a year of big change, planning and preparation for me and I’m so excited that 2014 is finally here so I can share this new music,” Kylie said.
“Into The Blue is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I’ve been feeling - I can’t wait for it to be out there.”
The adorable Aussie spent much of last year in the U.S. working on material for her new record, which includes collaborations with Pharrell and Metrophonic, amongst others.
Her as-yet untitled 12th studio album will be a follow up to 2010’s Aphrodite.
Earlier this week Kylie posted a picture of her on a set looking glam in a gold coat and – be still our beating hearts! - what looks like a pair of hotpants.
“Lovers yes it's true I was on set shooting the video for my first single!!!” she captioned the pic.
