Kylie Reveals Four New Tracks (And A Lot Of Flesh) On ‘Kiss Me Once’ Tour
Ms. Minogue rocked teeny, tiny costumes by Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana and Marchesa on her tour’s opening night…
Kylie Minogue kicked off her ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour on Wednesday night at Liverpool’s Echo Arena, revealing four brand new tracks, and a whole lot of skin in the process.
The songs in question were produced by Fernando Garibay - who has previously worked with Lady Gaga - and three of them appear in eight-minute film 'Sleepwalker', which opens Kylie's show.
The fourth track, 'Chasing Ghosts', is performed by Kylie during the main body of her 'Kiss Me Once' gigs, and you can listen to all four new songs below.
As for the outfits, Marchesa, Jean Paul Gaultier, Julien MacDonald and Dolce & Gabbana were all involved in creating Kylie's costumes, which ranged from a scarlett corsetted dress, to pink crystal-encrusted lingerie and a black latex trench coat. Kinky.
"All aspects of what I do have to come together in a live environment, which is at once thrilling and nerve-wracking!" said Kylie of the 'Kiss Me Once' tour. "Having so much shared energy in one place is amazing. All cast and crew come with as much energy as the audience so it’s a case of chicken or the egg… We don’t know who was first but we are all there for the same thing - united in that space and time."
