Glamour awards live up to their name as stars flock to London bash
Last nights Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Berkley Square Gardens in London were a typically star-studded affair.
Teri Hatcher, Sugababes, Charlotte Church, Naomi Campbell, Liz Hurley, Sharon Osbourne and Billie Piper were among the celeb ladies who tramped up the red carpet for the ceremony. But it was Kylie Minogue who won the prestigious woman of the year gong. The Aussie singer, who has been battling breast cancer, couldnt make the bash but sent a thank you message to her fans, which was read by Sharon Osbourne.
"The last year has been my least public but, in many ways, the most," she said. "Your support has been an enormous help and I hope to be back with you all in person very soon."
The Da Vinci Codes Paul Bettany was there to pick up man of the year, and Charlotte Church was a double winner, claiming best solo artist and the editors special award.
But Naomi Campbell ruffled a few feathers when she revealed that she would be supporting Brazil in the world cup.
