GaGa And Tony Bennett To Make Jazz Album
Tony Bennett on a new jazz album.
The duo have already worked together, having previously sung a cover of The Lady is a Tramp for Bennett's Duets II album last year.
According to Rolling Stone, the Marry The Night hit-maker is keen to make an entire record with the 86-year-old crooner.
Bennett revealed: "[Lady GaGa] called me from New Zealand and said, 'I want to do a jazz album with you', and I said, 'You got it!'"
The singer was full of praise for GaGa, saying: "A lot of people don't know it, but she's a phenomenal jazz singer.
"She's a good friend and I respect that she's so creative, that every day she changes, she has so many ideas and carries them out. She just never stops with it. I call her the musical Picasso."
Bennett said the album, which would have “a big swing band” feel, would be “happening soon”.
