GaGa, Elton John, Pink, Eminem & Lil Wayne Perform At Grammys

Plus there is a Jacko tribute…

Beyonce and Taylor Swift may have picked up all the statues at the Grammy Awards last night but it was the performances that got the most attention.
Lady GaGa opened the show by duetting with Elton John on her track Speechless. Wearing a green sequined outfit she played on a double-ended piano with Elt’ as they also played a brief snippet of his classic Your Song.
Thanks to the lavish flaming set- they both ended the performance covered in mucky soot.
Later Pink played her track Glitter In The Air whilst hanging from the Staples Centre roof and Green Day previewed their forthcoming American Idiot musical.
In a typically fierce performance Beyonce- who won six gongs at the ceremony- hit the stage to play If I Were A Boy and a cover of Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know.
On a hip hop tip Eminem, Drake, Lil Wayne and Travis Barker ran through Drop The World and Forever with the audio frequently cutting out to get rid of the swear words.
Celine Dion, Smokey Robinson and Jennifer Hudson all paid tribute to Michael Jackson at the show in 3D.
