Remember that scene in Bridesmaids, when Rebel Wilson gets that infected tattoo that makes you want to throw the remote at the TV and never open your eyes again? Yeah, Lady Gaga’s just gone and done the same thing.

Sharing the image on her Instagram, Gaga's new pit tattoo (the most painful place to get inked on the body, apaz) is in tribute to the fifth anniversary of her album The Fame Monster. In case the above trauma isn't enough for you, Gaga's kindly posted a video to go with it, because everyone loves the sound of a needle on skin.

There’s a pleasant swirly design, with ‘Mother Monster’ inked underneath, supposedly a shout out to all her Little Monster fans. We’re sure it’ll look lovely when it’s healed, but for now, a big pack of frozen peas and no more photos until it looks how it’s supposed to. Thanks, Lady G!
