The Poker Face star has confessed she uses the drug when writing music...
Lady GaGa has revealed that she "smokes a lot of pot" and drinks straight whiskey when writing new music.
The 24-year old, who stole the show at the Grammy Awards earlier this week after arriving at the bash in an egg, has admitted to using the recreational drug in an interview with Anderson Cooper for US TV show, 60 Minutes.
GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta, explained: "I smoke a lot of pot when I write music. I'm not gonna, like, sugar coat it for 60 Minutes that, you know, I'm some, like, sober human being, 'cause I'm not. I drink a lot of whiskey and I smoke weed when I write."
Despite admitting her she uses the drug, Lady G added: "I don't want to encourage kids to do drugs. What artists do wrong is they lie. And I don't lie. I'm not a liar. I built good will with my fans. They know who I am. And I'm just like them in so many ways."
