Lady GaGa Calls Madonna Comparisons "Retarded"

"Why would I try to put out a song and think I'm getting one over on everybody? That's retarded."
The 25-year old continued: "What a completely ridiculous thing to even question me about… If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression. "
"It's the same one that's been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I'm the first f**king artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn't mean I'm a plagiarist, it means that I'm f**king smart. Sorry!"

GaGa went onto defend BTW further, saying that she was heavily "inspired" to pen the tune: "I feel like, honestly, God sent me those lyrics and that melody... There's no way for something that pure to be wrong."
Her choice of words have been addressed by a Mencap spokesman yesterday, who told The Sun: "It's an unfortunate choice of words, particularly from someone so influential."

In other Lady G news, the eccentric star has spoken out about how she felt when her next single, Judas, leaked on the internet last week.
Speaking in her latest episode of YouTube series, GaGaVision, the Poker Face hitmaker claimed: "I got an email, 'Eeek, 'Judas' is leaking – a slow death. I was just... put me out my my f**king misery, just put that s**t out."
She added: "There's no need. It's like they were tearing it limb for limb – first it was the arm of the song, then the liver."
