It seems the Poker Face star’s demanding schedule finally caught up with her just before a gig in Indiana.

After the support acts had performed a message came up in the arena explaining that the main act would not make it.

On her Twitter the star ran through what happened, saying: “I've been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down 2nite. An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing.

“Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart-rate was irregular- a result of exhaustion and dehydration.”

Lady G added: “can't apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage… everyone was concerned I'd be in danger during the 2hr show, since I had passed out earlier.”

Her spokesperson told reporters: “Due to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady Gaga collapsed and passed out before her show tonight in West Lafayette, Indiana. Her physician has advised her to take a few days off to rest.”

The West Lafayette show has now been rescheduled for January 26. Lady G’s tour hits the UK next month when hopefully she will be at full fitness.
