Lady Gaga Confirms New Album In 2016 & A New Look To Go With It

Could it be inspired by The Countess?

Straight after winning a Golden Globe on Sunday night (10th January) Lady Gaga dropped some huge album news.

LG5 (the nickname fans are giving Gaga's 5th album) will be here in 2016.

Lady Gaga told EWreporters backstage: "You know, I am putting out an album this year. I won't tell you when!"

The 'American Horror Story' actress' forthcoming album will be her first since colloboration with Tony Bennett, 2014's 'Cheek To Cheek', and her first original record since 2013's 'Artpop'.

The singer-turned-actor also confirmed that she will be debuting a new look to go alongside the album, however, she's not sure what this will be just yet.

When asked whether hernew music would reflect her recent change in style, she said: "That's a difficult thing to say, as I don't know that you yet know what I will look like for my next album, as I'm still creating all of those things. It's something that is a gradual change always with me."

Having already hinted that her new music will be influenced by her 'AHS: Hotel' character, The Countess, Gaga elaborated on this, saying: "What was nice about playing The Countess is it reminded me that in my own life and in my music, I’m always — at times — playing a character, and I become them fully. And living inside of her was liberating, I’ll tell you, because she doesn’t give a sh*t about anything."

Little Monsters are obviously over the moon that therewill have some new Gaga music THIS YEAR! Let's hope it's sooner rather than later.
