Lady Gaga Confirms Space Performance
Lady Gagahas announced that she will be the first recording artist to perform in space.
Earlier this month,[uuid=91a72f82-f192-4b4f-87ba-8d60b35f152e] Us Weekly reported[/uuid] that Lady G was set to put on an out-of-this-world show, with a source adding: "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere."
Now, Mother Monster has confirmed she will sing a song during a Virgin Galactic flight in 2015, as part of the Zero G Colony festival.
Speaking at the launch of her ARTPOP album, the Applause singer explained: "I did not buy a ticket, no, my ticket was given to me. I was asked specifically to sing.
"So I'm going to be the first recording artist to sing in space. And I did not purchase my flight."
She added: "This is a special festival event held by Zero G Colony and I will be flying in space two months after the first commercial flights take off."
