Lady GaGa: 'Delusion Is The Secret Of My Success'
She claims naivety was key to her rapid rise to pop domination...
Lady GaGa has attributed her phenomenal success to a combination of "delusion and naivety".
Interviewed on new US chat show The Conversation With Amanda De Cadenet, the pop star was asked what advice she would give to her 14-year-old self.
She replied: "Nothing! If I had known anything, this never would have happened. It was my delusion and naivety that brought me here."
The show is to be aired in the US on Thursday, but a very brief teaser clip has been released online.
The new show, which made its debut last week, features former The Word presenter De Cadenet chatting with famous women. It is executive produced by Demi Moore - who made her first public appearance since her stint in rehab at the launch party.
