Lady GaGa Gets "Emotional" When Singing 'You And I'
The eccentric star has confessed the song is about her ex, Luc Carl...
Lady GaGa has revealed that she finds it hard to perform track You And I because it is about her relationship with ex-boyfriend, Luc Carl.
The Judas singer, who is said to have branded all men "pigs" following her split from the rocker, claims she is overcome with emotion every time she sings the song live, as she penned it while still dating Carl.
You And I is all about getting back together with a former lover, as GaGa sings the lyrics: "You taste like whiskey when you kiss me.../ I'll give up anything again to be your baby doll/ Yeah, this time I'm not leaving without you."
GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta, has now admitted that she gets upset when singing the heartfelt tune, telling Us Weekly: "There is not one song on any of my records that wasn't written by me."
"I think when you write your own music you find ways to reinvent [the songs] emotionally through yourself and performance so that they are different every night and that song you know, sometimes it's about the guys and sometimes its about the fans,"
The 25-year old added: "I get emotional each time I sing that song."
