The album will be called 'Joanne', named in memory of her father’s sister who passed away at the age of 19, and it will be released on 21st October 2016.

Speaking to Zane Lowe she opened up about why her aunt’s death left a mark on her family, saying: “[My father] was younger than her and she was very sick with lupus. The death of her in his family and in his life, it really left a scar and a wound that never healed.”

She also revealed that there will be a track on the album called ‘Joanne’, and we’re sure it’s going to be completely heart-wrenching.

With the news of LG5 finally being announced, fans everywhere are so excited. We were lucky enough to sit down with Mother Monsterto chat about her amazing fans, and she’s pretty sure you’ve all got a tracking device on her - Pokémon Go style.

She said: “They do have a sort of a Pokémon Gaga Go. I don’t know how! They are the best. I don’t know what I did to deserve them in my life but they are such a blessing.”

The ‘Perfect Illusion’ hit maker went on to talk about theirdedication, despite her deciding to steer away from pop over these last couple of years. She told MTV: “When you decide to not make a pop record for three years and make other music...I just never thought of it that way. I’ve been doing a lot of interviews for the album and a lot of people have said 'you’ve been gone for a while' andI haven’t been gone.”

Well, us hardcore fans know all about your duets album with Tony Bennet and the various other projects you’ve been working on like, umm, winning a Golden Globe for American Horror Story for example?

Yeah, she hasn’t been gone at all, but boy are we glad to FINALLY have some more pop music on the way - we’ll be here counting down the days until 21st October.

You can catch our full interview in 'MTV Asks Lady Gaga' coming soon to MTV...
