Lady Gaga Chats Epic Super Bowl Performance & Reveals New Music Video For ‘John Wayne’

She also chatted about her new movie with Bradley Cooper and her Metallica GRAMMY Awards collaboration...

This week has been absolutely insane for Little Monsters all around the world as Lady Gaga proved that she is well and truly back, and ready to take over all of your lives.

Since the release of her brand new album 'Joanne', Lady Gaga has pretty muchbeen constantlyin the spotlight, whether that’s dropping surprise music videos or absolutely smashing it out of the park at the Super Bowl, she’s giving us a ‘Million Reasons’ to be obsessed with her (sorry, not sorry) and we’re totally okay with that.

Last night she released the music video for ‘John Wayne’ exclusively on Apple Music but first she had a little catch up with ZaneLowe where they spoke about everything from the Super Bowl, to the Joanne World tour.

Speaking about her performance at SB51, she said: “I’m really happy and had such an amazing time performing at Super Bowl, wish I could relive it all over again.” Invite her back next year, yeah NFL?

She added: “I had a real sense of being in the zone for this performance, worked on it for a really long time, it took months to put together, I trained really hard for it. I really loved it, every second of it, I just wanted to give the world and my fans what they deserve, which is a great show.”

Zanealso asked Gaga about the moment she spotted her parents in the crowd and melted all of our hearts in the process, she revealed: “I was singing a 'Million Reasons'and my mom and dad were right there. I think thats why I said ‘hi mum and dad’ it was so surreal, and to see my parents in the crowd, it was special in a lot of ways.”

The ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker also revealed how she felt being lowered in from the stadium’s rafters, and by the sounds of it, it was as terrifying as it looks. She said: “It was super high and super scary at first, but once I made the decision there was no going back, I made a deal with myself that I wasn’t going to get nervous. I was 70 feet in the air and I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Once the lights came on, and the were fans screaming, and I heard the boom of the pyro, it's what makes me feel alive.”

And she even chatted to Zane about THAT moment at the end of the show, she said: “I was really happy I caught the football. The night before I was going to sleep and looked up at the ceiling and I was like, ‘what is wrong with you? Why on earth did you think it was a good idea, because it was my idea, to try and catch a football and then fall 15ft into a put of foam?’

She continued: "You know what culture is like, if I had dropped it that’s all anyone would have talked about, it would have been like ‘biggest fumble of the night’ or something, I would have been devastated. But I fought for it. I thought to myself, if I can do all of that and then catch the football, thats a real touchdown.”
