Lady Gaga ‘Knocked It Out Of The Park’ For ‘Sin City’ Sequel
Director Robert Rodriguez reports the pop star showed up ready to work...
While Lady Gaga is known for bringing the theatrics everywhere, she’s also prepared for anything.
E! News reports that while Mother Monster was on the set of Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For (where she plays a waitress called Bertha), there wasn’t any time to construct a wig for her role. So naturally she brought her own.
In an interview with director Robert Rodriguez — who previously worked with the pop icon on Machete Kills— he mentions how he wanted her in his latest film by any means necessary. Her rigorous touring schedule only allowed for a bit role available within her proximity.
"She happened to be on tour in Houston, just a couple of cities away from us in Austin,” Rodriguez told E! “She was ready. She brought her own wigs! I said, ‘We're not going to have time to make a wig for you.’ She showed up, we did the scene, she knocked it out of the park and then she was back on tour.”
How’s that for being the quintessential professional? While her ability to adapt to any emergency is key, the fact that she can actually act is the cherry on top for Rodriguez, who says Gaga can really make waves in film if she cares to. “The camera loves her,” he adds. “She's a great performer.”
From the stage to the silver screen, is there anything Lady Gaga can’t do?
