With Lady Gaga's epic comeback at the end of 2016, Little Monsters everywhere have been rejoicing to the sound of her new album 'Joanne'.

And with every musical comeback comes the dedication of her fan-base, those who stick with her through thick and thin, even when she’s away from the spotlight.

This week’s featured fan account lives and breathes Lady Gaga, and their Twitter handle really says it all, @GagaMegaFan.

We caught up with the people behind the fan account to find out what it takes to dedicate so much time to Mother Monster herself.

Who runs the account?

My name is Abdur. I am 19 and from Turkey. I study Dentistry. And due to my busy life I decided to make a partnership with my friend Cameron, and he is from USA.

How long have you been a fan of Lady Gaga?

I am a proud Lady Gaga fan since 2009 which is after she released her critically acclaimed debut album The Fame. The first time I heard songs like ‘Summerboy’ and ‘Just Dance’ from this album, I was on a summer vacation with my family. The music was playing in the background, we were having a picnic and it felt so good. That is the first time I fell in love with Gaga.

Why are you a fan of Lady Gaga?

If I could write every reason why I am a Lady Gaga fan here, it would take so long, but I’ll try to name a few. Besides her good music and vocal skills, as you know, she was always different from other pop stars. First thing first, she made me a braver person and gave me the courage to express myself better and be who I am. Without having her in my life I couldn’t be the person I am now. She always cares for her fans more than anything. It may sound like a cliche but she REALLY cares for her fans, more than anything. So I am more than being a Mega Fan, I feel close to her like she is my best friend. And that’s what would you think when you see her talking to her fans. We are more than just ‘fans’, we are family and she is The Queen, The Mother Monster of our ‘Monster Kingdom’…

I am a Lady Gaga fan because she inspires people. She’s giving so much of her to the people. She truly is a superstar who cares for the world and for peace. Also her youth empowering foundatio, the ‘Born This Way Foundation’ aims to inspire youth, build better communities and a ‘braver, kinder world’ for youths. How can you not love such an angel!

How much time do you devote to running the account?

I’m always on Twitter during the whole day and night as long as I have free time. I am always trying to provide the latest Lady Gaga news to my followers.

Has Lady Gaga ever noticed the account? Retweeted? Liked? If so, when?

Happy to say, yes! She retweeted twice. First time she retweeted me was 2 years ago on October, 2014.

How did that make you feel?

It was such a magical experience to be noticed by your muse! I cried the whole night and then 2 years later, in October 2016 she followed me and it was the best thing that could have happened to me.

Have you ever metLady Gaga?

Unfortunately, not. But if she come here again during her tour –which is for her brand new album 'Joanne' - I’ll try to meet her. Even the thought of it makes me excited. Meeting with her is on the top of my life goals.

Have you seen her perform live? If so, how many times?

Yes, during her Artpop Ball Tour ArtRAVE she came here, Turkey, Istanbul. I was there and I was watching her from the very front. Seeing her singing live was one of the most memorable moments of my life. I had the most entertaining party of my life with great songs and a great show. I believe she is the best performer of our generation.

What’s your favourite Lady Gaga song and why?

As every fan will tell, it is a really hard decision to make. I love EVERY one of her songs but ‘Judas’ is probably my favourite. The song has a from-another-dimension bridge. Every time I feel down, I listen to it and it lifts me up.

What makes Lady Gaga different to other female solo artists?

She is a great performer and yes, she can sing! She's an activist who has put her career on the line so many times to do what's right for others and to stand up for her fans. Also, her music is so deeply personal and thought provoking. For example, with her new album Joanne in her song 'Million Reasons' she talks about the hardships in her life that make it so easy to walk away, but she just needs one good reason to stay, and this makes people think about their own hardships in their lives, and that connects the listener and Gaga. And finally, the fashion. She is pop music's style icon! I mean look at all of her iconic outfits, and even the ones she's been wearing for 'Joanne'are iconic. I mean, that pink hat!
