Lady GaGa has insisted she abstained from smoking cannabis during the recording of upcoming album ARTPOP.
The Born This Way superstar has never been shy about her enjoyment of the drug, having once claimed it gave her a "spiritual experience with her music".
She smoked a joint on stage earlier this year during a performance in Amsterdam, where cannabis is legal, and happily dressed up in a cannabis-themed costume for Halloween.
But Lady G reassured her Little Monsters that ARTPOP was a drug-free album.
According to Digital Spy, she said during an online chat with fans on the Ultimate GaGa website: "NO WEED ON ARTPOP... NO," although she did add: "Weed in the bathtub though. Hahaha."
GaGa also revealed that the new LP would push boundaries, saying: "My favourite thing about the Born This Way album was that it was risky and its own thing.
"ARTPOP is very risky... if you're not taking a risk you're not breaking any boundaries."
The You And I singer added: "I feel ARTPOP is what I've been working towards since The Fame. It's what has defined me and my fans, and we are claiming the music that is ours."
Back in September, GaGa revealed that the album would be a "multimedia experience".
