Lady Gaga Offers Last Minute Update Ahead Of Her Epic Super Bowl Half-Time Show
The Bad Romance singer gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her dress rehearsal
The Lady will be taking the spotlight during the midpoint break of the biggest American Football match of the season with the final seeing the New England Patriots taking on the Atlanta Falcons.
The match kicks off at the NGR Stadium in Houston Texas at approximately 11.30pm UK time and Gaga will be the star attraction of the halftime show – following Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars who gave a storming performance last year.
Taking to Instagram stories on Saturday, the Bad Romance singer gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her last minute preparations and dress rehearsal.
“I will be playing the halftime show for Super Bowl 51,” the Grammy-winner said as she sat in a make-up chair.
“You are here with us today getting a behind-the-scenes peek at our preparation process for the show,” she added – before sharing clips of her practicing her moves with her backing dancers and doing warm up stretches.
She also took a call from her grandmother who remarked of Gaga’s make-up chair looked: “Oh honey you look so beautiful!”
It is believed Lady Gaga is going to use hundreds of drones as part of her show stopping performance – and she promised fans will not be left unimpressed.
“I thought it was important for us to consider high adrenaline; when you're watching football, you're watching guys crash into each other - you're watching some real strategizing happening,” she said in a press conference on Thursday.
“It's a pretty intense situation, and I didn't want the halftime show to take a dip. It's going to be a good time,” she promised.
