Lady Gaga has premiered her brand new single Applause!
The singer issued a "pop music emergency" less than an hour ago, announcing that her new single would debut today due to "hackers [and] an abundance of low/high quality leaks."
The song wasn't supposed to premiere until August 19, but portions of the track were leaked over the weekend [uuid=6733513a-dd98-44b1-a1ba-03983327e3b6]prompting an angry outburst[/uuid] from Mother Monster on Twitter.
She wrote: "Lord, in HEAVEN WHY, YOU JUST COULDNT WAIT THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ONE SATURDAY. Don't worry. THE HAUS BUREAU is on the case.
"Now its not that we HATE computer speakers its just they're not as HQ. We spent time actually making sure it sounds good in s**t speakers."

Applause is the first cut from Gaga's third studio album ARTPOP, and the star is due to perform the tune live for the first time at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on August 25.
