Lady GaGa Premieres 'The Edge Of Glory' Video

Watch GaGa's simple but classy new promo here...

Lady GaGa has premiered the video for her third Born This Way LP single, The Edge Of Glory.
As we previously reported, the 25-year old songstress announced via her official Twitter page that the promo would be unveiled on US TV show, So You Think You Can Dance, getting it's first play last night.

The promo is arguably GaGa's most simple clip to date, and sees the Judas singer dancing and singing solo on the fire escape of a New York city apartment and the misty, deserted street below.
Instead of her usual elaborate dance routines, dramatic plot line and scantily clad dancers, Lady G is joined by legendary saxophone player, Clarence Clemons, as the pair sit on the doorstep of the apartment together.

While the video may be a far cry from her previous eccentric promos, such as Telephone and Born This Way, Lady G still dons a Versace black, studded-leather bondage style outfit, strutting her stuff on the street in suspenders and fish net tights.
Shortly after shooting the video, Clemons - who is also known as The Big Man - suffered a stroke on 12th June, leaving GaGa to tweet a get well message to the musician.

She wrote: "Little monsters, my very close friend + musician on The Edge of Glory Clarence Clemons is very sick. Can we all make some get-well videos?"
The video has been directed by Lady G and the Haus Of GaGa team, with internet reports suggesting that original director, Joseph Kahn, could have been fired after GaGa's creative director, Laurieann Gibson, claimed they "had an issue" on set.
