Lady Gaga Teases New Single Title 'Applause'?

Lady Gaga has appeared to reveal the title of her eagerly-anticipated new single.

 

In an image posted on Gaga's Little Monsters social-networking site, her make-up artist Tara Savelo can be seen putting the finishing touches to what looks like the artwork for the singer's next release.

 

The snap was accompanied with the caption "26 days", while the picture includes the rumoured song title Applause written in red, block capitals across the top.

 

 

Savelo's comment with the pic points to the release date of Gaga's first ARTPOP single, which the star has already confirmed will be on August 19.

 

The 27-year old's third studio LP is due for release on November 11. 

 

Lady G recently confessed that she's 'scared to revisit' her past and face up to her previous "pain" on her new single after handing it over to her record company.

 

She also hit the headlines today (July 24) after a new Lana Del Rey demo for track So Legit leaked online, which sees Lana diss Gaga.
